Growing up in Taiwan, the thought of film-making as my profession never cross my mind. After moving to America in 1996, I ventured out into the brand new world. While it’s not always easy, I managed to find a mutual language I can communicate with others. That was the very first time I took interest in film-making. I enrolled in The Los Angeles Film School in order to gain knowledge and understanding of film. While in school, I learned a lot about editing, cinematography, and directing. After film school, I worked in both production and post-production.

To become a great visual director, I feel knowledge of all different fields is necessary. To me, visual does not mean special effects but as a great story telling tool. I believe that a story can be told without a single word if its done right. If a still picture can tell a thousand words, let film speak millions. I would like all my projects to be creative and new. As difficult as it sounds, I believe it is not impossible.
